Urgent Issue: Incorrect Email Subject Despite Backend Update

Hi Collect.chat Team,

We’re facing a persistent issue with email notifications:
Even after updating the backend email subject to “New Chat from Kids Summer Camp 2025”, we still receive emails with the subject “New adult chat from website” (which belongs to a chatbot on a different page of our site).

Details:

  • Expected subject: “New Chat from Kids Summer Camp 2025” (configured in backend).
  • Actual subject received: “New adult chat from website” (from an unrelated chatbot).
  • Impact: This causes confusion and misrouting of inquiries.

Request:
Please resolve this conflict so that the email subject reflects the current chatbot’s settings, not those of other pages.

We need some more information here. Bot IDs of both the chatbots in question.

And we advise you to send it to our customer care support email - care@collect.chat.

Thanks for your response. Here are the Bot IDs experiencing the subject line issue:

  1. Bot ID: 67c953e53b5fcbcbdb785497
  2. Bot ID: 684b0746c24f821e916d9f04
  3. Bot ID: 684bdf473c9788ba73a699f9

Problem:
All three bots send notifications with the subject “New Adult Chat from website # [Count]” despite unique backend configurations.
